Gozney Arc Lite brings 500°C performance to a 12 kg oven

Gozney has reduced the footprint of its Arc family with Arc Lite, an outdoor propane oven designed for 12-inch pizzas. The European product page specifies 500°C, a rolling lateral flame, a removable 12 mm cordierite floor and a weight of 12 kg. External dimensions are 430 × 481 × 297 mm. No assembly is required: the oven must be placed on a stable, non-combustible cooking surface and connected to propane. Gozney states that it is for outdoor use only. The current price on the European store is €399.99. The trade-off is easy to understand. Arc Lite gains compactness and portability compared with a heavier oven while retaining genuine Neapolitan cooking temperatures. A specification sheet cannot, however, tell us how quickly the thinner cooking floor recovers between successive pizzas. That is the measurement we would want before recommending it for large groups. The standard warranty is one year and can be extended to five years when the product is registered within sixty days of purchase. For a balcony, compact terrace or occasional use, the format makes sense, provided outdoor-use and clearance rules are followed carefully. Arc Lite reflects a useful wider trend: bringing very high-temperature cooking to smaller spaces without requiring a permanent oven.
